- Parents authorize the Principal and staff to supervise students while they are under the care of the school (in loco parentis).
- The school authorities may take decisions in good faith for the welfare, safety, and proper education of students.
- Appropriate and lawful physical contact may be used when necessary for teaching, maintaining safety, or comforting a student in distress.
- Corporal punishment is strictly prohibited.
- Parents give consent for emergency medical treatment if required and if they cannot be contacted in time.
- Parents should also allow routine medical examinations conducted by the school doctor.
- Academics
- Teachers assess the academic strengths and weaknesses of students.
- Students must follow teachers’ instructions and work towards improving their academic performance.
- Parents should support and follow the academic guidance given by teachers.
- Regular attendance is necessary for academic progress.
- Health
- Parents must inform the Principal about any medical condition, disability, or health issue of the student.
- Students suffering from contagious diseases should not be sent to school.
- Students unable to participate in physical activities must provide medical information or instructions from parents.
- The school will provide basic care during emergencies but will not be responsible for any consequences arising from medical treatment.
- Attendance
- Students are expected to attend school regularly and participate in all school activities.
- Students must work to the best of their ability and maintain good behaviour.
- Parents should follow the school calendar and term dates announced by the school.
- School Almanac
- At the beginning of each academic year, every student receives a School Almanac.
- The almanac contains information about staff, school rules, events, holidays, and the code of conduct.
- All students and parents must follow the rules mentioned in the almanac.
- Student Conduct
- Students must behave respectfully and show good manners both in school and in the community.
- Students should respect school property and maintain a clean environment.
- The Principal is responsible for maintaining discipline in the school.
- Students who violate discipline rules must follow the corrective measures assigned by the school.
- Liability
- The school will take all reasonable steps to ensure a safe and secure environment for students.
- However, the school will not be responsible for accidental injuries, illness, or loss of personal property during school activities.
- The school is not responsible for the actions or incidents involving students outside the school premises.
