EVALUATION

Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE)
  • The revised evaluation system has been introduced in accordance with the Right to Education Act implemented in the State of Maharashtra.
  • This system focuses on the continuous assessment of students’ academic performance and overall development throughout the academic year.
Aims of Continuous Evaluation
  • To ensure continuous monitoring and assessment of students’ learning progress.
  • To evaluate the overall development of students including knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
  • To assess behavioural and learning outcomes effectively.
  • To identify students’ strengths and areas that require improvement
Types of Evaluation
1. Formative Evaluation
  • Conducted regularly during the learning process.
  • Includes activities such as:
  • Classwork
  • Homework
  • Projects
  • Oral tests
  • Assignments
  • Class participation
  • Helps teachers understand students’ progress and provide timely guidance.
2. Summative Evaluation
  • Conducted at the end of a term or academic period.
  • Includes written examinations and final assessments.
  • Measures the overall learning and understanding of students.
